What a lovely weekend.

What a lovely weekend.

I have to say, the bank holiday weekend was lovely here, and I got a good few days boating in, down the soar, and onto the trent for a bit of a muck about.

I went with a few friends, and had a great time. What about the rest of you?

We had a reasonable weekend, Saturday was quite nice and sunny managed to get the canopy scrubbed so it doesnt look quite so green, also de-greened the boat too!
Sunday was showery but we managed to have the fist BBQ of the season.
Monday raining when we got up so packed up... then was sunny but we needed to go and sort Toms works van as the gear box blew up!
So all in all not a bad weekenfd,

Weekend on the lifeboat, though no trip out because the wind gennie has opted to suck electric out of the batteries, rather than blow it in (that is how they work isn't it?).

Instead we spent a whole day at Chatham Historic boatyard which puts the inland efforts at museums and preservation to shame.

£38 for a family 12month pass and I think we got our money's worth on Sunday, alone.

The rest of the w/e was spent walking the mudflats and dreaming of solar-power.
