Hi All,

I like the look of this forum with its concentration on 'proper' cruisers although mine is a narrow beam and based on the T&M canal in Cheshire. Boat is a 6 berth 26' Viking, centre cockpit called MARINIA and powered by a 15hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard. It is a 1989 model and very original so needs quite alot of work to make up for the 19 years of slow degredation that all boats tend to suffer from. I've owned her for two years and always been keen on boating since being involved in opening up the Lower Avon as a lad back in the 60's. In the interrim we've hired/borrowed or bummed trips in various craft including a Moonraker, a Springer narrow boat and a couple of sailing boats on the South coast too. There's even an unfinished pram dingy under a cover in the back garden! I'll put some more detail in the Viking section. You can also see more about the boat on the Viking Owners website.
Here is a piccy to go on with.

Cheers

Hi Dave, and welcome.

That's a nice looking boat you've got there. Count yourself lucky you've only got 19 years, my boat is 35 years old.
