So that saw off Saturday morning & a bit, after a stop for a snack at midday. Then as per normal one of the kids turned up for a visit with a couple of the grand-kids, hence the rest of the afternoon was spent taking in a bit of 'R'&'R' and a few glasses of falling over fluid.
Sunday & Monday I tackled the task I had been putting off, paid the price later! The front garden came complete with a ruddy great flowering Hawthorn tree that I have been meaning to get rid of for ages, now I have talked the wife to my way of thinking
That was my bank holiday, grafting over this tree, hacking like a good 'un. Fortunatly there was a tinkle of rain on Monday morning that helped to keep the pollen down for a while but come the late afternoon, when I tried to put the smaller branches through the shredder I started to pay the price. My lungs are not the best of human appliances, so pollen & long concerted effort take its toll. I had to call it a day. Still after a couple of days rest at work
Well folk there you have it, the story so-far. Unless a really do something else while waiting to paint, I do not expect to post an update next week, but you never know
ps. Sorry no pics again, I keep forgetting to get batteries for the camera
